This scrummy loaf tastes a little bit festive, laced with seasonal cinnamon, nutmeg & delicious sweet apples.
A great one to share with friends & family over the holidays!
2 cup almond meal
Half teaspoon sea salt
Half teaspoon baking soda
1/4 cup arrowroot powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup melted coconut oil
1/2 cup raw honey
1 apple peeled, cored & diced into cubes
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
A dash of freshly grated nutmeg
Mix together all dry ingredients (except nutmeg) in a separate bowl mix all wet ingredients, combine both mixtures together & add apples.
Pour mixture into a non stick loaf tin, sprinkle with nutmeg. Optional, sprinkle with walnuts.
Bake for around 30-40 minutes until golden brown at 180•c.
